Event Five

In our Create Workshop, we explore the challenges women have overcome on their journey to becoming who they were called to be. We integrate faith, God, and goal-setting, emphasizing how incorporating God's principles into our daily routines leads not only to personal growth but, most importantly, to fulfilling His divine will. We also talk about the power of forgiveness—releasing who she once was before coming to the knowledge of Christ—and how to overcome traumatic pasts through the truth of God’s Word.

Women’s Empowerment Through Faith-Driven Healing

"Abuse does not discriminate—it affects women across all backgrounds, including those within faith-based communities. Research shows that 1 in 4 highly religious marriages experience intimate partner violence (IPV), challenging the assumption that faith alone protects against abuse. Additionally, young women aged 16 to 24 are nearly three times more vulnerable to intimate partner violence than those in other age groups, highlighting the urgent need for awareness and support in dating relationships as well.

Many Christian women struggling in abusive relationships—whether dating or married—turn to their faith for strength. However, studies suggest that religious beliefs can sometimes lead victims to endure harm rather than seek help. This event will address these challenges, providing biblical truth, practical resources, and a safe space for open discussion. Through faith-driven healing, we will explore how women can reclaim their voice, break free from cycles of trauma, and walk boldly in their God-given purpose."
